ONTARIO VENUES VACCINE STATEMENT

Effective September 22, 2021, all Guests, Employees and Contract Professionals who are eligible for vaccination must be Fully Vaccinated (as defined below) against COVID-19 to gain access to The MRG Group venues and events. This policy will remain in place until further notice or update.

Mandatory Vaccination Policy for Guests
Effective September 22, 2021, all guests who are eligible for vaccination must be Fully Vaccinated (as defined below) against COVID-19 to gain access to The MRG Group venues. A person is Fully Vaccinated 14 days after their second dose of a 2-dose vaccine (such as Pfizer, Moderna or Oxford/AstraZeneca), or 14 days after their single dose of a 1-dose COVID-19 vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson). A person who has received two different vaccines (such as a first dose of Oxford/AstraZeneca followed by a second dose of Pfizer or Moderna) is Fully Vaccinated. As a result, all Guests, Employees and Contract Professionals who are eligible for vaccination must have received their second dose of a 2-dose vaccine (such as Pfizer, Moderna or Oxford/AstraZeneca), or their single dose of a 1-dose COVID-19 vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson) by September 8, to qualify as Fully Vaccinated by September 22, 2021.

On October 22, 2021, the provincial government will provide an app that requires the need to show an upgraded proof of vaccination that includes a QR code. You will have the choice to download the QR code app or continue use of your paper receipt. More details to come from the Ontario Government ahead of October 22, 2021.
Proof of being Fully Vaccinated will be required for all Guests, Employees and Contract Professionals. Instructions on how to update your public health records can be found by clicking here.

Children not yet eligible for vaccination
Effective September 22, children not yet eligible for vaccination may access the venues accompanied by parents/guardians who have provided their own proof of being Fully Vaccinated. Participation in venue activities and events will be subject to masking and other safety protocols aligned to policies in the Regional Health Unit.

Guests, employees and contract professionals who do not provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19
Those who are unable or unwilling to provide proof of being Fully Vaccinated by September 22, 2021, and who are not otherwise being accommodated pursuant to the Human Rights Code, will not gain access to The MRG Group’s owned venues and events.

Guests
Effective September 22, only Guests Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19 will have access toThe MRG Group venues. Proof of being Fully Vaccinated will be required at time of check-in. If no proof is provided, the Guest will not be allowed to enter the property, subject to any legal obligations we have to Guests.

For private events, Hosts will be required to provide a complete list of Guests who will be required to show proof of being Fully Vaccinated at time of check-in. Such a list will also include a list of guests requiring accommodation.

Additional Public Health Measures
Subject to any lawful exemptions, all Guests, Employees and Contractors attending in person at any MRG Group venue or show will be required to continue to comply with all other applicable health and safety measures to reduce the hazard of COVID-19, including but not limited to any screening or masking requirements and maintaining physical distancing.

Confidentiality
The MRG Group takes the privacy of its Guests, Employees and Professional Contractors seriously and takes appropriate steps to comply with applicable privacy laws. An individual’s vaccination status is personal information that is not shared or disclosed outside the scope of a limited number of authorized persons, and even then, only for the limited purposes of implementing the policy.
The policy will be reviewed regularly and will be updated as the situation evolves. In the event Public Health authorities recommend a further vaccination obligation, this vaccination policy will be updated to include the further obligations.
We appreciate your support of this important policy update and all the measures we continue to have in place, as we do our part to protect the community at large.

 

BRITISH COLUMBIA VENUES VACCINE STATEMENT
THE MRG GROUP

The following notice pertains to the following venues: Capital Ballroom, Vogue Theatre, Imperial, Biltmore Cabaret, Dublin Calling, Dublin Down and Yale Saloon.

Effective September 13, 2021, all Guests, Employees and Contract Professionals who are eligible for vaccination must be Fully Vaccinated (as defined below) against COVID-19 to gain access to The MRG Group venues and events. This policy will remain in place until further notice or update.
